The Cisco DPC2325 Gateway is a DOCSIS 3.0 cable Gatewa.

The Modem Includes the following connection ports:
  • POWER - Connects the cable modem to the power adapter.
  • ETHERNET 1, 2, 3, 4- Connects to the Ethernet Port on your computer.
  • REBOOT EMTA - Used for maintenance to reset the modem - may delete all previous settings.
  • WIRELESS SETUP - Wireless Protected Setup (WPS) button.
  • CABLE - Connects to the cable wall outlet.

Modem Lights

The modem lights indicate the current status of the able modem. To troubleshoot any connection problems, use the table below
 
Light Status Problem Solution
Power On None. N/A
Off No Power Verify power supply connections and electrical outlet. Also make sure the outlet is not connected to a wall switch
DS On None. Connected to the Internet N/A
Flashing Downstream Scan Verify all cable connections. Try resetting the modem. If connections is OK and modem reset does not correct the problem try re-provisioning the modem.
Off Not connected to the Internet. Verify all cable connections try resetting the modem. Verify there isn't an outage in the area.
US On None Connected to the Internet N/A
Flashing Ranging Verify all cable connections and that the modem is not in Standby mode. Try resetting the modem. If connections is OK and modem reset does not correct the problem try re-provisioning the modem.
Off Not connected to the Internet. Verify all cable connections try resetting the modem. Verify there isn't an outage in the area.
Online On None. Internet available N/A
Flashing Power-on Self Test N/A
Off No connectivity to the Internet , or in Standby Mode Verify all cable connections try resetting the modem. Verify there isn't an outage in the area.
LAN1-4 On None. N/A
Flashing None. N/A
Off No devices connected Verify Ethernet cable connections, the TCP/IP settings and the NIC. You might need to reinstall the NIC drivers. If this does not resolve the issue, try re-provisioning the Modem.
WIRELESS LINK On None. Wireless Access Point is operational. N/A
Flashing Data is being transferred. N/A
Off Wireless access point has been disabled.  
WIRELESS SETUP Flashing None. User has activated wireless setup to add new wireless
